Diver Bitten on the Head in Fiji
Somewhere in Beqa, a Fiji island, a woman was reportedly bitten by a tiger shark.
Details are vague but a woman who requested to be anonymous said that she and 11 others were part of a diving group arranged by a resort. While diving, a tiger shark came after the victim and witness after being poked by one of the dive masters. The unidentified victim had his hood and mask pulled off by the shark before the dive masters could ward off the shark by pushing it away.
He was taken to a local hospital for treatment to a cut on his head approximately three inches long.
