On the beaches of the town of Xcalak a Cuban illegal, spent five days of intense pain after being bitten by a shark, fell victim to the big fish after being shipwrecked with six other compatriots who abandoned him at landfall.

En las playas del poblado de Xcalak un cubano ilegal, pasó cinco días de intenso dolor tras ser mordido por un tiburón, fue víctima del enorme pez tras naufragar con otros seis coterráneos quienes lo abandonaron al llegar a tierra.

Dos turistas estadounidenses estaban caminando la tarde de ayer sobre la orilla de la playa del poblado antes mencionado, ubicada en el municipio de Othón P. Blanco, cuando se percataron que un hombre estaba tirado sobre en la arena y se identificó como Juan Miguel Infante Ramírez, de 37 años de edad.

El indocumentado manifestó que llegó con seis compañeros más; viajaron aproximadamente 150 kilómetros desde Cuba hasta México y que cerca de la orilla la lancha se descompuso por lo que decidió bajar a repararla.

Cuando ingresó al agua sintió una mordida en la pierna derecha por la ingle y al llegar a las playas mexicanas sus amigos lo abandonaron, por medio a ser deportado decidió aguantar el dolor de la herida y alrededor de cuatro días estuvo bajo el sol, lo que ocasionó que se le infectara.

El antillano fue trasladado a bordo de una ambulancia de la comunidad de Mahahual al Hospital General en Chetumal, para su atención médica.

Fuentes extraoficiales dieron a conocer que marinos encontraron a los otros seis cubano, al parecer fueron detenidos kilómetros más adelantey en las próximas 24 horas serán puestos a disposición del Instituto Nacional de Migración.
