Paddle Ski Damaged by Bull Shark in South Africa
A man’s paddle ski was bitten by a bull shark while fishing.
David Gregory along with some friends launched from Westbrook Beach in oThongathi for a kayak fishing expedition. After hooking a small hammerhead shark near Causurina Beach, he felt a bump from the bottom of his paddle ski. They began to paddle back to shore, but after taking in too much water from the damaged ski, they left the vessel and swam the rest of the way to shore.
No injuries were reported from the incident expect to the paddle ski.
