One child 18 months bitten by a shark in Polynesia
Last Saturday, a 18 month old child was injured by a shark in "black tip" while fishing with his mom on the Tuamotu atoll of Hikueru. Seriously injured, the victim was evacuated to CHPF of Taaone.
On Saturday, March 7, 2015 on the beach of the village on Tupapati Hikueru Atoll in the Tuamotu, a child of 18 months was bitten by a shark. While his mother was being emptied of fish caught earlier, the child sitting beside him, suddenly bitten in the leg by a type of shark "black tip". The victim has two wounds.
On the premises at the relevant time, the deputy mayor has provided first aid and provided transport the child to the health center of the atoll. It is supported by the health auxiliary.
