Accurate Shark Attack information is so hard to come by. Many of our
attacks may have been blown out of proportion by the media, or our
attacks may have been smoothed over by tourism officials and special
interest groups. Much of our shark attack information becomes classified
and just another record stored in a file cabinet doing no good for
anyone.
We ask survivors to write about their experience in their own words, we
edit nothing, and don’t ask any leading questions and each person can
share as much information as they are willing to share. This eliminates
catchy headlines, things being blown out proportion, or things smoothed
over. It brings out the FACTS about each attack so others can learn from
our experiences.
When we were attacked the world read about our experienced, they prayed
for us, and think of all those who helped in our recovery. We can let
everyone know how we’re doing, what we have accomplished, what we
learned about being attacked by a shark, and how to make their next
beach experience a little safer.
Listed below are persons who have shared their shark experience and have
written about their incident and/or participate in our Survivor Services
assisting other survivors!
We thank these persons for sharing their unique experiences and
willingness to assist others and hopefully make your next water activity
a little safer.
Many more actual shark encounters
coming soon!
